Collaborations make the world go round. Whether they take place in the fashion industry or the business world, people teaming up and creating fabulous things is what it’s all about. The latest collaboration comes to us from No Doubt.
For a little over a decade, No Doubt has been topping the charts with their ska punk and pop hits. Now, with all those Grammy awards under their belt, the next step is taking over the fashion world. The group has recently teamed up with British brand Fred Perry to launch a new capsule collection.
Fred Perry is known as the first British heritage brand to successful blend sportswear with streetwear. The brand was introduced in the late 1940’s and has gone on to become a huge global enterprise.
The collection is set to be released online slowly throughout January and hit stores within the following months. It will feature slim-fitting preppy basics, including polo shirts, bomber jackets and sweatshirts. The colors of red, gold and green will accent the garments to give them a reggae, ska feel. The first item for sale will be a limited edition shirt available for both men and women.
With Gwen Stefani’s current fashion line, L.A.M.B., a success and Fred Perry’s influence on the British ska punk world, this new line is sure to take the fashion world by storm.
